It
is time again to recognize Veterans Day -----
one of the most significant and memorable days
of the year. We can repeat our appreciation and
offer our loyalty daily as it is always
appropriate to honor and show our heartfelt
gratitude for all of the men and women
throughout history who have allowed us liberty
and freedom. We are living in tumultuous times
and each day appears to spawn news of a tragedy
somewhere. It causes us to pause and reflect
upon all the military personnel who have served
and those who continue to serve to protect this
great nation. Many serve in harm’s way and face
unbelievable atrocities, fear and danger. May
God grant them the strength and courage to carry
out their important assignment and provide His
peace and loving grace to each one.
There are so many of us Americans that proudly
fly our flag because we love the United States
of America and feel privileged to live here. We
remember with tremendous pride what this country
stands for and how we got this freedom and how
we continue to preserve it. Our Veterans have
fought to keep us free. They have risked their
lives, many lost their lives and many each day
put their lives in danger so that we may try to
continue to live in freedom. We must face the
future prepared and courageously act to defend
our ability to remain free to speak what is on
our minds, have the ability to go wherever we
want and most importantly, feel free to
practice the religion of our choice and to honor
God as we choose.
If
you get a chance personally to thank those you
know who have served or are currently serving
our country, please do so. They are extremely
worthy of our gratitude and we definitely need
to support their sacrifices ---their service far
exceeds anyone’s political beliefs. These are
individuals defending all of us! They are
extraordinary individuals you can be sure.
Thank God that we have a special day designated
to honor our veterans, but may we remember them
in prayer every day.
We
praise God for our impressive military and thank
each and every one of you who has served or who
has family or friends currently serving. Have a
safe and memorable Veteran’s Day.
God richly bless
all of you is our prayer,
Danny, Allen,
Jim and, Phillip
