The Harvesters

wish you A VERY

HAPPY NEW YEAR

updated12/31/15

As we bid adieu to 2015, may we greet 2016 with a renewed sense of hope and promise and resolve to expand our relationship with Jesus Christ.  He is our Hope and our Salvation!  During this calamitous time, we pray for peace and goodwill.  May we pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ and proudly extol His message.

The Harvesters felt extremely blessed in 2015 and look forward with great anticipation to the things God has planned for us in this New Year.   We always are excited to return to our ever faithful churches and other concert venues and love to unite with you---our gospel music family. Please check our concert schedule and make plans to join us at an event near you.

In addition, many new doors of opportunity opened for us to spread His word in song and we are grateful for any and all occasions we get to share our Music Ministry with others.  Our goal will always be to “Reap Souls for His Kingdom.”

As the New Year begins, we generally want to start fresh and perhaps make a few changes in the way we do things. We rushed around both before and after Christmas, enjoyed the company of family and friends and stressed out about a myriad of things which had nothing to do with Christ’s birth.

This passage from Isaiah points out to us that if we have faith and hope in the Lord then we are able to draw on the strength that only God can give as we start this New Year. We may be weary from the days of endless stress at work or at home, illness, financial burdens, death and any number of other misfortunes. We feel tired and exhausted and at times can be overcome by fear.  That is when God wraps us in His loving arms and lifts up our heads so we can face each day.

Isaiah 40:31 (NIV)

But those who hope in the LORD

will renew their strength.

They will soar on wings like eagles;

they will run and not grow weary,

they will walk and not be faint.

Our wish to each and every one of you is a healthy, peaceful, joyful New Year showered in God’s blessings!

Together in Christ’s love,

Danny Parker
