At this time in our history, we continue to face turmoil, catastrophic events, religious persecution, fear and bewilderment at a greater level than any time in our existence. We owe so much gratitude to our past and current military service personnel.   They are true heroes and it is with heartfelt love and devotion that we pay tribute to all of these amazing men and women.   Memorial Day is the special day we commemorate and honor all men and women in our military for their extraordinary ultimate sacrifices in service to our nation. It has also become customary to honor all of our loved ones who have passed before us.  This day used to be called Decoration Day and we visit gravesites (when possible) and place flowers and flags to honor the cherished memories of those we love.

At our concerts some of our most requested songs are those that pay tribute to our military and our homeland that these courageous men and women work selflessly to defend. We are such a blessed nation and we thank God each and every day for the liberty and freedom that we enjoy.  May we never take for granted our right to worship at the place of our choice and live in a free nation.

 As we gather with family and friends on Memorial Day, as a major part of our activities, may we pause to celebrate the blessings of our hard-won freedom and remember those who made it possible. On this day, we also acknowledge all noble service men and women currently serving in areas throughout the word to maintain our freedom.  Let us observe this day with a spirit of patriotism, gratitude and thanksgiving in our hearts.
